Featuring Tobias Krause, Senior Events Manager of Two Parts, an experiential events, marketing, and promotions business housed in our own building, The Temple, along with news host Vic Vela of Colorado Public Radio.
Join us for a one-night discussion with our speakers, who will both share their personal experiences of addiction, and how they have come to support others who are experiencing the same. Tobias will address the challenges that face performers and creatives, while Vic will talk about his life's journey, and how he is using it to produce an upcoming podcast which highlights recovery stories. Free and open to the public.

About the Speakers
Tobias KrauseOriginally hailing from Milwaukee, Wisconsin... Tobias Krause has called the Mile High City home for the past 12 years. Krause has been an intricate part of the Two Parts events and production squad for the last six years, leading events of all kinds. Everything from intimate 10-person pop-up dinners to music festivals with more than forty thousand attendees. He helped produce the Westword Music Showcase for two years, after which he jumped ship to take on the Underground Music Showcase for the past three years. In January of last year, Krause's employer, Two Parts, purchased the Underground Music Showcase from The Denver Post Community Foundation. Two Parts tapped Krause to be the next Event Director for the festival as it enters its 19th year in Denver for 2019. Outside of Two Parts and the UMS, Krause does music development with young artists and volunteers with a slew of nonprofits around the city. He also has a dog named Guthrie.
Vic VelaVic joined Colorado Public Radio in 2015 after years of freelance work for the CPR News team. He has more than 15 years of journalism experience, including serving as legislative editor for Colorado Community Media, as a sports anchor and reporter for an NBC affiliate in Amarillo, Texas, and as a reporter for "The Daily Record" in Cañon City and the "Albuquerque Journal." A native of Longmont, Colo., Vic has diverse reporting experience, covering politics, crime, sports and entertainment for TV, print and radio. Vic received his Bachelor's degree in speech communications from Metropolitan State University of Denver and went to graduate school at the Walter Cronkite School for Journalism, Arizona State University.
