The program gives the ArtLab interns the experience to work with professional design students apart of the AIGA Denver student chapter and design professors from Metro State University. With the real-world experience, the students are using design-thinking to communicate their ideas, exhibit their potential, and take action in their communities. Students are visually representing their ideas in the form of billboards.  They have worked with the AIGA student chapter for 8-weeks, culminating with the exhibition of six billboards addressing issues of the students’ choice.  Students have gained a foundational knowledge of Adobe™ products and applied this knowledge to the creation of the billboard project.  Each student has been mentored professionally and personally by a Metro State College student.[borders are imaginary lines]By Eddie Orozco, Andrea Ruiz and Eddie Nouri[tear off the tape]By Jasmine Naranjo, Angelo Perea and Garrett Wieronski[gentrification]By Josh Tucci, Allison Gryzboyski and Joseph Marsh[we don't think the same}By Haña Lucero-Colin, Ryan Fraser and Jarrod Stanley[think - express - accept]By Kate Rempel, Miles LaGree and Valerier Brazeau[count the times]By Saira Apodaca, Yesenia Estala and Mike Wheeler
