The students spent time with the project’s Lead Artist Judy Anderson and conceptualizedOh Bombs of Change after learning design elements and participating in passionate discussions about their generation.Oh Bombs of Change addresses the media, the environment and the change that the millennial generation brings for the future. Bomb’s of life drop into a city composed of positive and negative headlines exploding into flower bombs; mushroom clouds that root and grow trees; and fire engines that fuel growth. The painting questions the media’s roll in our perceptions of our world. It emphasizes the importance of the environment as our foundation and future. The mural won the First Place Award at the 2009 Denver People's Fair.Oh Bombs of Change is layers upon layers of history with hope for a brighter future.6' x 8' Acrylic, collage, stencil, charcoal on canvasStretched and mounted on wood
