Jerry Vigil + Columbine Prep Contemporary Learning Academy + Skinner Middle School

"Dia de los Muertos"October 6 - November 2, 2003Creative Resident Jerry Vigil has been working with students from Columbine Prep (an alternative DPS middle school), Contemporary Learning Academy and Skinner Middle School. Together they have created the "Muertos" art that will be used in PlatteForum's Day of the Dead celebration. Jerry also worked with over 100 kids from Peace Jam, making the "papel picado" banners that will adorn the ceiling for the event. Peace Jam is an international program that provides youth with a year-long curriculum based on the lives of Nobel Laureates. Peace Prize winner Jody Williams attended the workshop at PlatteForum.
