Artist Conversation: March 21st, 6:30-8pm

Using a format developed by PlatteForum, this talk will allow youth to interview Lucy along with activists and experts who will bring cross-sector topics to the forefront such as environmentalism, racial equity, and mental health. The event will hold space for youth, artists, activists, and experts to have engaging and formative conversations about the present and futures of our communities and our world.

Joining Lucy for her Artist Conversation will be Laura Martinez, Manager of Environmental Justice Programs at Cultivando.

Laura Martinez has been a longtime community advocate with a heart for change. She joined Cultivando in 2021 as a Promotora working with community in Environmental Justice. Some of her life goals are building bridges, creating opportunities, and nurturing a better life. A fun fact about Laura is her enthusiasm in problem solving with a love for math.
