Artist Talk for: How Strange it is to be Anything at All

  • A.I.R. Annex Gallery 3575 Ringsby Court Denver, CO, 80216 United States (map)

Artist Talk: July 30th, 6-7pm

Featuring Lexy Ho-Tai

Join us for an engaging artist talk with Lexy Ho-Tai, the goopy human behind How Strange it is to be Anything at All. Immerse yourself in the whimsical world of lovingly crafted, slightly existential soft sculptures, puppets, wearables, and drawings that spring to life through a mesmerizing stop-motion animation and installation.

Throughout her residency, Lexy has collaborated with our ArtLab interns to explore profound questions: What does it mean to be human? How can we free our minds? How can our bodies be home?

This artist talk invites you to reflect on the unique space created. One where you can rest, create, and connect with the many beings that serve as extensions and mirrors of ourselves. So, loosen up your human suits – all parts of you, including your questions and curiosities, are welcome here. This is a soft place to land.
