Each Friday for the past six weeks a group of ArtLab Interns meets to discuss and learn different techniques in photography under the mentorship of Denver Photographer, Anthony Maes. The group is learning theory, and critiquing one another’s work while building the Generations exhibition. Mentor Photographer, Anthony Maes, was born and raised in Denver. He is a Photojournalist, Street Photographer & Cultural curator. Maes says, “I can only hope for my art to ignite a spark in the mind to create or dissolve the story behind each piece.” PlatteForum is pleased to feature the groundbreaking photography of Maes alongside the students whose talent he is fostering.
