TEMPLE TATTLE - Insight, Installations and ArtLab Interns

Thursday, September 5th at 6:30 p.m. Oz Architecture, 3003 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205Local artist Moe Gram and current PlatteForum Resident Artist Jessica Forrestal will come together to get real about working with ArtLab interns at this very special Temple Tattle. Situated at Oz Architecture—the home of the new mural by Moe and our ArtLab interns—this month's rabble-rousing conversation is less Temple and more Tattle. For this creative pair up, we're getting the inside scoop on what it's really like to work with a group of civically-engaged, social justice warriors to create something that not only speaks to their communities, but accurately reflects each artist as well.
To kick off the evening, Moe and Jessica will share a little bit about their personal practices and how they each view arts impact on our community. Jessica will dive into what it was like to work with the ArtLab interns for her installation, "Mechanical Voids," and Moe will talk about how the interns helped develop the concept behind their CRUSH Walls mural.A Q&A will close out the night where audience members are encouraged to engage with both the artists and the interns.About Moe GramMariah Sherman Graham, known in the Denver art community as Moe Gram, is a local artist, designer and owner of the fine art brand Moe Gram Art & Lifestyle, LLC.
