Black Cube’s Executive Director + Chief Curator, Cortney Stell, is working with the ArtLab interns throughout the summer to curate and present The Temple Artists Group Show. In working with Ms. Stell, the interns have learned valuable professional skills, many of whom have recently graduated from high school, and are setting out for the first time in their careers. The Temple Artists Group Show features the work of The Temple’s studio artists Kahlil Cezanne, Thomas Evans (DETOUR), Jason Lee Gimbel, Katie Martineau-Caron, George P Perez and Frankie Toan to name a few. The Temple Artists Group Show will be fully curated by PlatteForum’s ArtLab interns and will explore the themes of identity, body and the awkward interactions that one may experience with strangers.Black Cube is a nonprofit, experimental art museum that operates nomadically. Without the traditional boundaries of a physical building, Black Cube exists primarily through partnering with their artist fellows to commission pop up art experiences.
