Susan has always been excited by the arts and music scene in Denver since moving here in 1998. Her first job was at the Tattered Cover, which she still considers her best career move. Since then, she has served as the PR Chair for CulturHaus, worked with the arts & culture advertisers at the Denver Post, and currently provides technology solutions to arts organizations around the country at WESTAF. She has a weird obsession with all things David Byrne, plays guitar horribly, and has never seen a Star Wars movie. Regardless, we welcomed Susan to the PlatteForum board in July 2016.

ARTINFO, Sales Director
Mariette joins the PlatteForum board after recently returning to Colorado from New York City. She is a passionate supporter of the Denver art community, and is on the board of the Denver Center Alliance, as well as a proud member of the Museum Associates at the Denver Art Museum.
While living in Atlanta and attending Agnes Scott College, Mariette began working for local art gallery White Space, and credits its owner Susan Bridges for her encouragement to pursue a career in the arts. This confidence brought her to New York City to work for a private dealer turned gallerist, Blair Voltz Clarke, who mentored her in the business practices and philanthropic protocols of the modern artistic space. Inspired with this insight, she pursued a unique opportunity at a fine art media company, Louise Blouin Media, where she still works today. Mariette manages a portfolio of international clients, including major museums and galleries, to promote their message to the masses both digitally and in print. While in New York City, Mariette was a founding board member of the American Folk Art Museum’s Young Folk membership group. Motivated to offer the same encouragement and support to Denver’s youth, Mariette returned to Colorado and is proud to support the Denver community. Additionally, Mariette enjoys hiking, travelling, and volunteering with the Denver Junior League.
